It is reported that Patriot's Tom Brady will not be making the controversial trip to the White House, citing family reasons. Brady's controversial friendship with Donald Trump has been long publicized and a talking point leading up to the traditional visit between Super Bowl winners and the United States President.
“I am so happy and excited that our team is being honored at the White House today. Our team has accomplished something very special that we are all proud of and will be for years to come. In light of some recent developments, I am unable to attend today’s ceremony, as I am attending to some personal family matters.
