TMZ Sports is reporting that Tiger Woods was asleep at the wheel of his stopped car at 2:30 .a.m. when cops found him. He was only about eight miles form his house and “out of it.”

According to the police report, he was asleep at the wheel of his 2015 Mercedes with the motor running and right blinker flashing. The report says his speech was ‘extremely slow and slurred.’

Woods told police he was “Coming from L.A. California from golfing.” He later changed his story and said he did not know where he was.

According to the police report, Woods failed the field sobriety test badly – he was unable to do the one-leg stand and the nose touch. The report says, when asked if he understood the Romberg alphabet test, he responded, "yes, recite entire national anthem backwards."

The police report states he was arrested and taken to a testing facility. He took a breathalyzer test at 4:28 a.m. and blew zeros.

Woods has since said he had an "unexpected reaction to prescribed medications. I didn't realize the mix of medications affected me so strongly."

He is due in court in July.
